Paleokastro
This is what we used to call a peasant village and although tourism is making its mark in this lovely village, it still is. Thanks to a few creative and invigorating foreign minds a whole new form of tourism was created; Paleokastro is the magic word for surf lovers. And I can tell you; it truly is a surfer’s paradise as it has the perfect wind, beautiful clean beaches and only a few entertainment possibilities. Apart from surfing it also offers beautiful hiking tracks and has absolutely breathtaking surroundings, which are ideal for snorkeling, sunbathing and swimming. Paleokastro is also an ideal starting point for exploring the east side of the island
