Males

Beautifully situated on a mountain slope overlooking the Libyan sea and is surrounded by four impressive mountains chains; Katharo-Omalos-Lasithi and Limnakaro varying in height from 1200 to 2000 meters.
During the Second World War, Males played a significant role in the opposition against the Germans. When entering Males, driving from the direction of Anatoli, an impressive statue of a proud partisan resting his foot on a German helm will give you an impression of what took place between the Germans and the partisans in those days. When passing through Selekano or Mithi, you shouldn’t pass up on the opportunity to visit this beautiful little village.
