Lasithi offers, apart from its astounding mainland, a threesome beautiful islands; Chrissi, (south of Ierapetra) Koufonissi (south of Makrigialos) and Dionisiades which lies just a little north of Sitia. Especially the first two mentioned are true water sport paradises and offer breathtaking beaches with crystal clear turquoise waters. The island of Dionisiades is pure heaven for the bird lovers among us as lots of (rare) species can be found on this lovely little island.
